Set in glorious Cheshire countryside on the Shropshire Union Canal this base gives you the opportunity to cruise on either the Four Counties Ring or the ever popular Llangollen Canal. Take in the glorious English countryside as you cruise past many pretty villages and historic cities, including Chester. The Llangollen Canal offers breathtaking views as you cross the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (an Unesco World Heritage Site), which carries the canal 126ft above the River Dee, whilst the town of Llangollen has a steam railway and a weekly market, both well worth a visit.
