This strategically situated base on the Trent and Mersey Canal, near Northwich in Cheshire, is an excellent starting point for your canal cruise. The most popular routes are the Cheshire Ring and the Llangollen Canal however for newcomers to canals, Chester or Ellesmere Port and return make a good introduction. For those on a longer holiday this is an ideal opportunity to explore the Leeds and Liverpool canal and two weeks will give you ample time to cruise to Bingley and return.
