This delightful stone-built cottage makes a lovely little hideaway, tastefully furnished in pretty cottage style, set in the heart of the lovely coastal village of Silverdale with its village shops, pubs and hotels serving good food. Walks begin straight from the doorstep, with a myriad of footpaths through woodland, open countryside and along the coast. A visit to the RSPB Reserve at Leighton Moss just a couple of miles away is a must for bird watchers and nature lovers. Walks to the Fairysteps at Beetham and Arnside Knott are well worth a visit and if you want to explore a little further, Grange over Sands, Windermere and the whole of the Lake District is within easy reach. A good shuttle bus and rail line provides excellent public transport services.
