The picturesque villages of Lealholm, Castleton and Danby have excellent pubs, bakers and everyday shopping and the Moors centre at Danby will provide all the information you need for exploring the Moors and Coast. The ancient port of Whitby is a 20 minute drive with picturesque bays along the Heritage Coast waiting to be discovered. Pickering, home to the Steam Preservation Railway is nearby, whilst Castle Howard and the City of York are within easy driving distance.
