Whipcott Water proudly sports our Green Badge, as a park planned and run with the environment in mind. It earns its credentials in the following key areas:
Energy Efficiency – all new build lodges are to the highest specification for insulation, heating and lighting. The park is in the process of changing to lighting which is energy efficient.
Recycling – Whipcott Water has a working recycling policy.
Water Conservation – all new toilets are dual flush. Stream water and not mains water is used for watering.
Social Practices – Whipcott Water supports local pubs, shops who supply local produce, local events, and charities.
Wildlife – No chemical sprays are used anywhere on the park. Horses, poultry, and fowl are bred on the park.
Building Practices – Whipcott Water build their own lodges which are timber framed and clad where appropriate. Local labour is used at all times.
Purchasing Policy – at Whipcott Water, products that are safe for the environment are purchased whenever possible.
