“...an appreciation of the natural world is all part
of the Hoseasons holiday experience”

Keeping our holidays green

Hoseasons has been arranging holidays in the British countryside and along its waterways for over 60 years – and appreciation of the natural world is all part of the Hoseasons holiday experience. That is why we are committed to offering holidays which add more to this experience and benefit the natural environment. We seek to apply good environmental practice in all of the communities in which we operate, and to encourage our employees and customers to support this.
Keeping it green
Putting customers in touch with nature

We always ensure that appreciation of the environment is intrinsic to our holidays, with features such as live videos of nest sites, badger watching, marked nature trails and walks. Boating customers’ respect of wildlife is encouraged with guidance about litter, speed limits and the “look, don’t touch” message.
The green light for holiday parks

Eighty-one of our holiday parks are proud holders of the David Bellamy Award in recognition of their commitment to environment protection, habitat preservation, energy conservation and recycling. All Hoseasons “Autograph” lodges carry our environment-friendly “Green Badge” credential, too.
Keeping our holidays green

Our service to owners of holiday parks, villas, boats and cottages includes recommendations on a range of environmental, planning and landscaping issues. We have also been instrumental in the introduction of wash-friendly hull designs, non-polluting plumbing systems and fuel-pollution reduction measures to our holiday boating fleet.
In the workplace

We create and maintain a “green” culture at work with guidance on energy saving and effective recycling of waste – from coffee cups to printer cartridges. A heat exchanger utilises waste heat from our computer installation, and our brochure papers are sourced from commercially renewed forest.
