THE HOSEASONS GROUP COLLECTS DONATIONS FOR COMIC RELIEF

On Friday (March 18th), staff at The Hoseasons Group in Lowestoft did their bit for Comic Relief by being the dedicated call centre in Norfolk and Suffolk for receiving donations. In total, the team answered 3,547 calls, between 7pm and 12pm, resulting in an incredible £131,602.90 in donations.


Comic Relief is a major charity based in the UK which strives to create a just world free from poverty. The charity formed 25 years ago, and its mission is to drive positive change through the power of entertainment; as a result, Friday produced the largest ever total of over £74 million!


The biggest donation received via the call centre on the evening was an outstanding £10,000 and the largest number of calls taken by one employee was 65.


In-house fundraising at the Lowestoft office took place on Friday, with many different activities going on throughout the day including: Fancy Dress, Wii Dance Competition, Name the Teddy, and Gerry’s Quiz. In total, in-house donations totaled £600.


Employees of The Hoseasons Group in Earby also raised £660 throughout the day from their in-house activities including removal of John Dagleish’s, General Manager Boats, beard, which raised £200.


Combining the total of both offices, The Hoseasons Group UK raised £1,260.
