Route description: From the charming city of Ely, dominated by its huge cathedral, cruise the unspoilt waters of the Little Ouse, Great Ouse, Old West, Cam and Lark rivers. Along the way you can stop off in Cambridge, with its famous university. Don’t miss King’s College Chapel and a stroll along the “backs”. Other highlights include historic St. Ives, the Oliver Cromwell Museum in Huntingdon and the medieval town of Mildenhall. Buckden is famous for its Great Tower where Catherine of Aragon was once imprisoned. Arriving at Bedford you’ll find a busy town with great facilities, including ten pin bowling, cinemas and a swimming pool.
