Route description: Starting from Bath, famous for its Georgian crescents and Roman Baths, cruise east over the graceful Dundas and Avoncliff Aqueducts to the pretty market town of Bradford-on-Avon. Then prepare yourself for the Caen Hill Flight, an amazing series of 29 locks, rising 237 feet, at Devizes. After that come 15 miles of lock-free canal through the Vale Of Pewsey. Bruce Tunnel comes next, which takes you to Wilton, with its fully working windmill, and then Great Bedwyn. Cruise on to the market town of Hungerford, famous for its antique shops, before arriving at picturesque Newbury.
