Route description: Cruise the Grand Union, Birmingham & Fazeley, Coventry and North Oxford Canals, taking in Warwick, with its famous castle and the Black Country Museum and Zoo at Dudley. From there it’s on to the vibrant city of Birmingham, with its Sea Life Centre, waterfront museums, galleries, theatres and restaurants and then to Tamworth, and its Snowdome indoor ski centre. Coventry is famous for its modern cathedral and also offers a wide choice of shopping and other facilities, before you reach the quaint canalside village of Braunston and the flight of 21 locks at Hatton Locks.
