Set in the gently undulating foothills of Bodmin Moor, Rosecraddoc Manor boasts a history that dates back to the Domesday Book. Rebuilt in the 1820s it is Grade II listed, together with the two bridges in the grounds – one of which forms part of the entrance drive. The manor house and coach house have been converted into apartments, all furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with many luxurious touches that will appeal to the most discerning of visitors. Access to the front door of the Manor is by 3 stone steps. Some of the accommodation features four poster beds and some offer spa baths. All accommodation boasts the benefit of a sauna.
Heron is a first floor studio-style apartment, whilst Riverview and Riverbank enjoy a secluded position on the banks of the small cascading river, with pretty aspects across the river and parkland towards the lake – these two cottages include special features to make them suitable for wheelchair users.
Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor, in an enviable position overlooking the fishing lake, and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor living room and large balcony.
Rosecraddoc Manor is surrounded by 35 acres of natural gardens and bluebell woods that beckon to you to stroll along its footpaths. The lake is well stocked for coarse fishing, with carp, roach and bream, and the all weather tennis court can be enjoyed April – October. There are several pubs locally, and a leisurely stroll to the foot of the drive and across the road leads to a licensed bar ‘The Village Inn’ which offers an extensive menu including children’s meals, barbecues and live entertainment regularly during the high season. It also has a large screen TV, pool room and children’s games making it an ideal venue for all the family.
Looe, with its many attractions is just 8 miles away whilst historic Plymouth with its city attractions and the Eden Project are both about 20 miles. Shop 1.5 miles.

Set high above Barmouth, and enjoying superb panoramic views and spectacular sunsets over the bay, this well appointed property is one of a group created from a complex of Victorian buildings. The town’s bustling shops, restaurants, pubs, old harbour and seaside attractions, including a sandy beach, are within walking distance. Crossing the estuary (and an RSPB reserve) and winding round the coast, the railway offers scenic excursions to Machynlleth (site of the fascinating Centre for Alternative Technology) and Pwllheli. Fine sandy beaches, excellent walking, fishing and sailing are found along the coast. Harlech’s championship golf, theatre and massive castle are just 11 miles, whilst Portmeirion Italianate village and Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog and West Highland narrow guage railways, are about 15 miles. A fantastic range of outdoor activities including climbing, walking, skiing and whitewater rafting are available in the lakes and mountains of the Snowdonia National Park – and a trip up Mount Snowdon itself is a must, on foot or by train.
