A short drive leads to Cowes, host to regattas every summer as well as the famous Cowes Week, whilst the natural harbour at Bembridge throngs with yachts and pretty houseboats. A wealth of outdoor activities can be readily accessed – golf, riding, sailing, cycle hire and fishing are all found nearby and windsurfing, jet skiing, sailplane flying and hang gliding are also available.
