Lovely house with lots of light from the roof glass. Spacious, comfortable and warm. Only downsides were the pans in the kitchen were a bit limited and there was a drip from the roof glass that only just missed my laptop! A lovely place to stay. A massive garden with nice views over Loch Sheen and towards the Paps of Jura.

Lovely well appointed cottage.Quiet location.Beautiful scenery.Comfortable and smart.lf you want a peaceful getaway in stunning location with abundant wildlife this is the place for you. A few things to be aware of: No mobile signal but good internet and a landline for emergencies. Shops about 30 mins away on narrow winding roads. Couple of good eating places nearby but similar drive away.Property seems to have issue with heating - too warm at times- have reported but seems to be recurring theme in reviews. Double bed rock hard but I found this ok. Would definitely go again.

It is a wonderfull house in an idyllic location, well off the beaten track.Sadly ,for us the beds were to hard for a comfortable sleep and this would be enough to put us off returning.

A great house in a beautiful location, a little off the beaten track but for us all the better for it.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. The area has seaside, forests, birds, hills, as well as good places to eat. The only downside is that it's a very hot house when the sun comes round in the afternoon, if you're lucky enough to get sun, which we did, all week. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, including things to do if you're rained in: books, DVDs, jigsaw puzzles, TV. There's the snug if you want a cool space or a brightly lit spot for reading.

The place was comfortable and very warm difficulty to control the heating and when the sun came out because of all the glass it was like a green house.
