Still the most uncomfortable lounge furniture we have ever experienced. The roof light leaked badly and this was obviously a long standing problem judging by the water marks in various places. It was lucky we had left no personal belonging on the table below the leak, they have would have been ruined, as it was we had to put a bowl under the dripping.

The lounge/diner/kitchen area was bright and spacious but what a pity that the main feature of the rooms I've the velum style windows were not in good order. Three of the Windows had broken openers and many of the double glazed units had blown and were filled with condensation which somewhat spoilt the sea view. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, however the main bedroom could do with a wardrobe. A hanging rail could easily be fitted into the wall cupboard which is currently filled with Christmas decorations and an assortment of towels/ spare bedding. It was a pity that neither the kitchen extractor fan or the bathroom extractor fan were working. Also, there was a problem with the drainage of the water from the bath as there was a leakage through one of the strip lights in the parking area beneath the property. I suspect this was a problem of some duration as the light was not working and the outer casing was missing. Do I sound disgruntled? Perhaps I could be more forgiving had we not paid "top price " for an August booking. The Northumberland coastline is stunning but we won't be returning to Spittall.

Great location, close to beach. Comfortable accommodation and great sea views. No wifi, no problem for me but teenage children put out by this.

Had a wonderful holiday, the accommodation was very clean and thoughtfully laid out. The beach was right on the doorstep and the corner shop a few yards away. Berwick is a short 5 minute ride away for more shops and some lovely riverside walks. Our two Westie dogs loved this holiday and we will certainly be back here again
