This is a very cosy homey place to stay. the location is great with access to most attractions and activities. Nearby Spar corner shop. the property is clean and very thoughtfully equipped with almost everything one needs for a hideaway holiday from music CDs to plenty of games... there is even a new pack of toothbrushes in case you forgot to pack yours. The only two things to be aware of which are not clear from the description are; 1) access to the property is via very narrow lane climbing up hill and the parking space outside the property is good for a Mini or a Smart. If you happen to be driving a big pickup truck like myself or a somewhat wide vehicle, be prepared to show off your diving skills or rub the vehicle in Vaseline because it's really narrow. There is also a quite sharp sharp bend so if your vehicle is long, don't think about it. in all cases you need to pray no other cars are coming in the opposite direction because there is literally no passing point along that lane without trespassing. 2) the access to the cottage itself is via steps leading down. they are not exactly steep but these are smooth slate or similar and we found it very VERY slippery specially in icy conditions. So for elderly, reduced mobility etc. bear this in mind. Apart from that, it's a really nice place and we'd probably go back again.

Ideal base to enjoy all that North Wales has to offer. The cottage was comfortable and the owners helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The garden is small but secure, which was good for Merlin our dog. Good dog walks from the door.

A lovely little house and a perfect base for walks. In easy reach of Betwys-Y-Coed, Llandudno and Llanberis. Well equipped kitchen and fantastic collection of travel guides and tourist information for the area.

A nice cottage which catered for all of our needs (3 people). Not much in the town, pub was closed, but a lovely spot, and a great central to all of the region with good road access. A small gripe - the wood burner didn't kick out much heat, but hey. We would stay again.

A very comfortable cottage in a wonderful location - very well-equipped, warm and very clean with some thoughtful touches. Great sun lounge overlooking the small garden is a great addition; BBQ and garden furniture also provided.

We had lovely time, the cottage was perfect, the only negative was all though the weather was beautiful, we were unable to sit in the garden, after being out for the day, because it was so over grown, which meant we had to sit inside,

Overall it is a lovely cottage but some things need to be addressed. Hot tap in bathroom requires mending as not able to used properly. Garden overgrown. Oven needs cleaning. Single bed needs repairing as slats kept coming out. Just to note: there is no wifi available and weak mobile signal and there is car parking but can be difficult.

We found the cottage very comfortable and warm. It was ideally situated to combine touring the area and visiting family in North wales. It is a very pretty village and has both a pub and hotel that serve meals. I would recommend booking if you want a meal in the hotel as they appear to close early and turned people away whilst we were there even though they didn't seem very busy! There is a very good bistro in Betws Coed nearby. They cater very well for those on a gluten free diet but again I would suggest that you book beforehand so that you are not disappointed. There are steep steps down to the cottage and the stairs are also quite steep and narrow as you would expect in an old cottage, so would not recommend it to anyone with a major disability.

This has the potential to be a lovely cottage unfortunately we had to wash most of the kitchen equipment and utensils before use and there was cob webs all over the house. There was a note asking us to clean up and hoover up with various other requests before we left. This would of been fine if we had found the property in a clean condition. We left the cottage in a considerably cleaner and hygienically safer condition than we found the property in.
