Positives: Lovely little cottage. Ideal for visiting Norwich City. Fantastic position with train station and buses nearby. Equipped with all you should need for your stay. Negatives: Not much usable outside space. Only 1 Parking space, so no good if you are having a vacation with two couples from different parts of the UK. Not enough towels (only 1 per person) Not enough cutlery (only 1 teaspoon so had to add a couple of my own) A mixture of glasses, only some matching. Rug in hallway kept slipping near a step so became a bit on the dangerous side. A bit on the noisy side being on a major road. No information: How to work washing machine/dish washer/oven Information pack would be useful regarding getting about and general info regarding the house. All in all an enjoyable stay but a lot of irritations.

The property itself in my opinion is in a good location with access to the many different restaurants and a very short walk away from morrisons and other shops. I am not happy about a few things that the owners could/ should have done. Knowing that myself, my wife and my 3 month old son will be staying for 7 nights, they did not have the following: No washing up liquid. No tea, coffee or sugar at all (not even for complimentary) No extra towels or bed sheets. No extra toilet roll and had to purchase our own. The hot tub did not look clean at, upon enquiry we was told it was cleaned a week ago and we declined their offer to come and do it as it would take over 24hours to be ready for use again. Apart from the above the place it self is great, lively property and due to the owners attention to the little details it has let it down. I have used air bnb and have had all of the above provided and more.

It was the perfect place to stay close to everything, so never used the car all the time we were there. Would go back again.

Great location for ease of access to the city, eateries and train station. Unfortunately the owners have the heating on very regular timers that kept setting the heating back to 16 deg, which was too cold for our visit (it was snowing and bitterly cold outside) We were also left a note and envelope requesting we leave £15 towards heating bill, which for a 3 night stay was a little harsh. The hot tub was unusable due to some floating forms of lord knows what ! The freezer was so iced up we couldn't open the drawers, luckily there are plenty of restaurants down the road so we didn't need to cook.

We think the description on your website is very misleading as there is hardly any privacy due to the block of flats overlooking the cottage!!!

Great position and parking too. Could do with a towel hook/rail in bathroom and shower could be more efficient. Otherwise, all good.

Cannon Cottage is the ideal base for a trip to Norwich. It's close proximity to the restaurants on the riverside, and to the City centre make it ideal for shopping, relaxation, and generally just enjoying a City break. The owners are great, and having stayed at Cannon Cottage four times, we know they will always look after us!

Lovely little cottage; only pity is a bolt has been put in the dial on the shower so you can't change the temperature; the temperature is governed by the combination boiler this means you don't get hot water at any sink; pity as you pay a premium price and should be able to choose how hot or cold you have your shower.hot tub was nice though it had been left in sleep mode and only 26 degrees and had to ring the owner and couldn't use it until the next day. Apart from this it is a lovely quirky place

We chose Cannon Cottage for it's central location as we were coming by train. It is very well placed for walking to the town centre and station. The downside is the traffic noise and the street light near to the front of the house which the bedroom blinds were not thick enough to block out. Luckily I had an eye mask which helped me to sleep. Thicker blinds or curtains would help a lot. Finally, a towel rail in the bathroom would save having to hang wet towels over the banisters. Having said all this, the cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable.

Wonderful cottage and perfect location. Would really recommend this property due to it's high quality furnishings and space. The pictures do not do it justice. A welcome pack would be a good idea and also a visitors guide would come in handy for recommended restaurants. Overall cleanliness could be improved, ie dusty cutlery drawer and un vaccummed rug. Hot tub had scum when the jets were in use but still enjoyable.

When we first arrived we were really impressed by the location and local amenities. We were a bit disappointed not to have been greeted by someone who could've shown us around and told us a bit more information. The shower was a disappointment as it just came out in little trickles. The bedding was ripped, DVD Player didn't work, majorly dusty in the wardrobes and some of the glasses & cutlery were absolutely disgusting and needed to be rewashed immediately. Although the hot tub was a nice touch it was the worst I've been in, if you're gonna get one and charge these kind of prices I would expect something a lot better. The layout and decorative finish of the place was absolutely fantastic I thought and was one of the main reasons we chose this particular place. The best thing about this place isn't actually the place itself but the location, I honestly don't think you could get a better location. Now the bit which turned a good week and us thinking of coming back again into us definitely not coming back! On the last day I thought we had to leave by 11 and it got to 10:55 and I heard keys in the door and the next thing I hear is "hello" to which I replied "hello".... the woman, who we later found out part owns this property says "you were supposed to be out by 10" in the most vulgar self centred tone I've ever heard to which I replied "I thought it was 11" to which there was no reply. As I was gathering the last few bits my girlfriend was outside waiting and she said she tried to make conversation with her but was just getting one word answers or being ignored! It is for this reason we will not be coming back as the customer service was atrociously bad and I think if it wasn't for the location this place would be a shambles! If you're looking for a good location I'd definitely recommend but if you're looking for cleanliness, good appliances and good customer service then I would definitely avoid! Ryan
