Great house and wonderfully situated to visit stunning coastline and have fun with kids. Hottub was blissful only bug bare was that they will keep your £100 cash deposit if they have to change the water after your stay if you haven't showered before you get in. Think the water should be changed between guests anyway.

We found Chestnut Cottage really homely. The decor was lovely & the cottage nice & warm. Mr Allenby the caretaker was great. Hot tub an added bonus. The only criticism we have is the cleanliness let it down very slightly. We found the cutlery draw had lots of bits in it, when we changed the bin liner the bin had rotten food underneath the liner, a glass bottle had broken in the freezer & some of the broken pieces were still in it. The washing machine draw had lots of mildew & I couldn’t remove it to clean & lastly the seal around the shower screen in quite mouldy. Nevertheless this wouldn’t stop me from staying again, just pointers to help keep the cottage at 5*.

Beautiful clean cottage in lovely little village. Wonderful walking with the dog right on the doorstep. Facilities in the cottage are of a high standard one of the few we have visited over many years of cottage holidays in the UK that honestly felt like home from home.

Had a loverly break away the cottage was loverly and clean very cosey only recommendations is better Internet as we couldn't get Internet in the bedroom and kept dropping out also hot tub needs some maintenance work as some jets and waterfall feature wasn't working properly. All minor issues would still highly recommend staying here.

Lovely cottage, plenty of space and well furnished. The only thing missing for us was a couple of sunloungers to relax in the lovely sunny garden.

A lovely cottage that is made that little bit special with the attention to detail. Hot tub lovely, spacious garden. Kids loved Fantasy Island which is a 20 min drive. A bit chilly during the Bank holiday weekend but the underfloor heating meant that the cottage was warm and toasty after getting out of the hot tub. We will definitely be back in the summer when the weather is a little warmer. Trevor was an excellent host
