A well appointed cottage if a little outdated, clean and well equipped. The owner was both friendly and helpful I would recommend this cottage.

This cottage could be lovely. It's in a great location with a pub and shop in the village and Tesco just a few miles up the road. The owner is a really nice man and is happy to help with anything. The cottage itself is rather tired with a very old uncomfortable sofa and an squeaky bumby bed. The duvet, pillows and bedding are all a bit worn and could do with a change. The cottage is hoovered and the plates, cook wear etc were all clean but I'm not sure it had seen a duster in a while. I'm sure the owner is trying to be helpful by leaving half empty shampoo bottles, half used bars of soaps and old shower scrubs in the bathroom but they just have the feeling of uncleanliness, and who would actually use these? Over all we had a lovely week and we booked at really short notice so we were happy but probably wouldn't stay here again if we had more options available (unless it had had some work done to it)!

Ideally placed to visit the surrounding area, including The Broads and the local coastline. Village Pub perfect! What else is there?

Nice village with good local pub. Bungalow was spacious & well-equipped and in a good location for exploring the area. We took bikes & could cycle to Sea Palling, which was lovely (as other bits of coast we went to) - we even saw seals in the sea. Shower could be better as it was a bit feeble. Double bed was very creaky whenever you moved & the sheet didn't fit properly, so kept coming off - single beds were ok though. Parking & turning was a little awkward. Wifi was poor. The owner was quite helpful, but not sure if we'd stay again.

Nicely furnished cottage albeit rather dated. However, the most important thing is the lack of cleanliness. It could do with a serious deep clean and removal of mould from around the bath. Everything we wanted to use, including oven trays and pots and pans had to be thoroughly washed first. The place hadn't been dusted in months and I think we left cleaner than when we found it.
