    Great place, excellent location for the dog friendly beach and not too far from Berwick. Lovely accommodation the quirky upside down layout means it is not really suitable for people with limited mobility (two flights of stairs to get to the lounge/kitchen on the second floor). Great covered parking area but if you have a roofbox on your car check before trying to pull in to it. We had to park just across the road but that wasn't an issue.

    A lovely seaside stay with sea views. Parking under property is ideal. Welcome cupcakes a lovely touch on arrival. Easy check in and check out. Just needs better black out curtains in all bedrooms to have made stay more restful - just too light for a good sleep. Also, water pressure is a bit low so don't all shower/bath/wash up at the same time. Small niggles on anotherwise lovely stay.

    This is a great cottage that is in a lovely location, can't be much more than a couple of hundred yards from a lovely sandy beach. It's modern and well decorated with great sea views. Whilst Spittal hasn't got anywhere to eat out Berwick upon Tweed is a 30 mins stroll away(Limoncello's is well worth a visit) and there are great coastal walks.

    Very clean accommodation. Just over a minute from the beach. Plenty of room - main living area open plan. Handy utility room. The cupcakes were a lovely treat on our arrival. In a very quiet area, which suited us. Less than 2 miles to Berwick. The owner was very friendly and helpful when I spoke to her on the phone.

    Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Cuthberts. Very good location, lots of facilities which is perfect for the whole family, excellent facilities, modern and very clean. Highly recommend. Would love to stay there again!

    the accommodation was excellent(clean & well kept) ok for a young family , but the stairs were a bit taxing for us "oldies" location just off the lovely promenade & beach were great for taking our dogs walks.

    Absolutely loved it - there was an honesty box for the wifi however we could not connect to it - I feel as though this should have been included however this did not effect how great the break was

    this is a lovely place. furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. very clean. brilliant location with sea view. we would highly recommend.

    Spacious and comfortable. Close to beaches. Great for dogs, especially having the utility room downstairs. 20-30 minutes walk into Berwick. DVD didn't work and no outside table if we wanted to have a BBQ. Some of kitchen equipment could do with replacing. But otherwise we had a good holiday!

    We went to Cuthberts because the cottage we had booked months ago wasn't available so we had to make a detour. The property was great in many ways but too far north for the places we planned to visit so it meant longer journeys most days. That being said, we loved being so near the beach. The kitchen was brilliantly fitted. Overall we loved Northumberland and had a great holiday.
