It was perfect for our needs. Everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect just a mile from the centre of Durham along the river Weir. We loved it! Loved seeing the rowers every day. Durham was a great little city, loved it. Newcastle only 10 -15 minutes away on the train. The weather wasn't too bad either if a little windy. The only downside is that it's a long drive from South Wales. I would recommend it.

As I'm originally from Durham I'm clearly biased but Australian relatives loved it and it gave me a real opportunity to see a part of my wonderful town and county I'd never seen. Here's to the next time!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage and the owner, Dave was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is in a perfect location. In the middle of the country side yet a 20 /25 minute walk along the river takes you to Durham town centre. We would definitely recommend it
