It makes an ideal holiday base, as it is only a short drive from a river centre, offering a range of water sports. Whitlingham’s dry ski slope is close by and the area has many country lanes, which are lovely for walking and cycling. Dinghies and day boats are available for hire nearby, and shops and inns are within 0.25 miles. Ideal for exploring the area, the fabulous sandy beaches at Winterton and Sea Palling. Visit Great Yarmouth for family fun, Wroxham the ’Capital of the Broads’, where you can take a river trip, BeWILDerwood the treetop adventure park that the children will love and the RSPB Strumpshaw. As a group of 6 people aged from 57 years to 74 years we had a lovely time, this house had everything you could need for your stay, fishing was great, it was a great week away from all the stress of day to day life, wifi here was excellent, the kitchen has everything you need for a self catering hospital.

This is the second time we have stayed. Please please please could the Windows be cleaned and cleared of all the spiders webs. Apart from this love love love ed it again.

A warning should have been given regarding the track leading to the house, which had bad pot holes, making it very difficult to drive down, and caused scraping on the bottom of the
mercedes car. A 4x4 should be recommended, especially after rain.
Also it should be explained that you have to operate a level crossing, with gates to open and shut.
The actual location is nice, but getting to it I would not recommend.
The house is a littler small for 6 people, as there is only one shower.

Lovely, quiet, secluded riverside property. Perfect for family get-together. Really well equipped. One of the beds could do with a more comfortable mattress. The females would have liked a large mirror in each of the bedrooms and possibly a chair to place clothing. Otherwise no complaints.
