Take a stroll round the beautiful gardens of Pittencrieff Park while you’re here. Falkland Palace is another highlight of Fife. This is a stunning renaissance palace, built as a hunting lodge for the Stuart Kings, featuring some superb interiors. And don’t miss the East Neuk, a string of pretty fishing villages set on a truly picturesque coastline.
