We had the most amazing week in the cottage. It was perfect for a walking holiday, with Bentley woods on the doorstep. Barlow, the dog, had an amazing time and got thoroughly mucky everyday. Fortunately there is porch at the entrance for our muddy boots, wet coats and wellies. On arrival we were so grateful for the teabags and milk left for us! And the wine and chocs an added bonus! Only mistake we made was taking our bikes as they rusted over in the wet weather, but lesson learnt! There is nothing nearby as the pub was never open, but as long as all you want is a peaceful break with lots of walks in beautiful scenery, with a clean and cosy cottage to come home to, then this place is 100% perfect! We will definitely be returning!

Very comfortable cottage in lovely woodland setting. Very quiet area, not many local amenities, just some nice pubs that do food. Our dog enjoyed her walks in the woods and came face to face with a deer and squirrels.

Nice little annexe to the main house. Cosy lounge, well equipped kitchen and comfy bedroom with shower room en suite. Own little garden. Main advantage for us was Bentley Woods literally 10 paces from the from door. Great place to exercise our lively spaniel. Well located to explore lovely Salisbury. We are NT members and there are several nice NT places to visit within an hours drive.

Lovely clean comfortable cottage. Well equipped. Lovely location and great walks for us and the dog straight from the cottage and in the near by nature reserve. No mobile signal which was great. Wifi was intermittent at times but caused no inconvenience. Great to have a large tv with Sky as in some other places we have stayed the tv is small with freeview only. Shop/PO is too far away to walk (even though we did once), however there is a Tesco Extra/Lidl about 15 minutes drive. The garden is accessible by going across the drive which meant being unable to let the dog out alone as he tended to wander off along the lane. Again no big inconvenience, but something I did not notice when booking. The owner was on hand if we needed anything and greeted us to explain some basic stuff such as recycling/tv etc. Would consider again in the future.

A lovely comfortable cottage in a very peaceful setting. The owners Caroline and Paul were very welcoming and although we didn't need anything during our stay they made us feel that nothing would have been any trouble for them. The cottage is located next to a wood and easily accessible for exploring Wiltshire and The New Forest. Pub is a 2 minute drive, nearest shop that we found is in Winterslow although there may have been others closer! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in this area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need and it was so nice , after busy days sightseeing, to come back to the cottage, relax and sit in the garden with a glass of wine! It's a lovely place to stay- and in a beautiful part of the country too. Many thanks to Paul and Caroline.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Foresters Cottage, and will definitely return. Paul and Caroline were excellent in being there to help if needed. The cottage is in a remote position, but just what we like, with many walks and lots of wildlife to see.

A lovely holiday cottage, very comfortable and set in a relaxing and quite location with wildlife on the doorstep. We had such a lovely time that we have booked to go again later in the year.
