Commanding sweeping views across the waters of Loch Carron to the idyllic National Trust village of Plockton, with the Cuillins of Skye in the distance, this very comfortable timber built property (shown left of left photograph) makes a delightful base to rest and enjoy the natural beauty of the west coast or an excellent base to tour the local historic landmarks, Shieldaig, Applecross, the Torridon Hills with several Munros and a of course Eilean Donan Castle and all within easy driving distance. By following the winding path adjacent to the road for about 100 yards down the hill it leads to the shingle beach and the owners house. The cottage is situated 5 miles from the village of Lochcarron where visitors are welcome on the the nine hole golf course. Attadale Gardens is 7 miles away. Shop, pub and restaurant 5 miles.
