• About Green Duffryn Barn

Enjoying a quietly secluded rural location and stunning panoramic views over the Vale of Usk to the Brecon Beacons, this delightful converted barn also boasts a spacious and very comfortable beamed interior, and a games room. Perfect for family reunions and celebrations year round, it lies about 7 miles from the historic town of Monmouth. Excellent break loved every minute of it, every thing you need was there, only thing wrong was the wifi was very poor but if you are getting away from it all then there are no worry's would love to come back, this was our second visit, first visit was seven year's ago and still looked the same, kept up to date very clean.

Quiet location in a very rural part of Monmouthshire. Very well equipped both domestically and leisure facilities with games rooms, and indoor board games. With three lounge rooms there was ample opportunity to find ones own space. The hot tub was a big hit with both adults and children.. The outside area was large affording plenty of space for outside dining and BBQ.....A building with a high specification in construction and decoration, the kitchen in particular being of a high standard, I have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.

The barn exceeded all of my expectations. Gary was very helpful prior to our arrival and was available during the stay. The pictures cannot do this amazing home justice! The setting is out of this world and is so peaceful and idyllic. The home has everything you will possibly need and I can't wait to go back. A little piece of paradise right in the heart of Wales.

The accommodation was just what we wanted for a family weekend away, and was of a very high quality. There is ample provision of e.g. crockery and cookware, and a nice selection of games equipment. The hot tub is great for a nice evening, relaxing and enjoying the wonderful countryside. On a downside there is no ground floor or accessible toilet and very little sound insulation in the partition walls, so be warned!

Loved it and will defiantly keep it in mind for our next retreat. It was quiet, peaceful, but had enough activities to keep us busy
