Commanding lovely views across open countryside, this cosy and comfortable cottage has a wonderfully peaceful enclosed garden, ideal for outdoor dining. Lying on the edge of Paxton village, which boasts its own country house featuring a gallery, gardens and tea room, and in an ideal location for exploring the glorious Borders scenery and the dramatic Northumbrian Heritage Coast. Beautiful beaches, numerous castles (magnificent Bamburgh Castle, 28 miles), Holy Island, St Abb’s Head Nature Reserve - all are an easy drive on quiet country roads. Eyemouth is 9 miles, where visitors can feed wild grey seals and take boat trips, and the nearby coastline has crystal clear waters, shipwrecks and marine life - a paradise for divers. Edinburgh’s attractions are well worth a trip. Pub serving meals 0.5 miles, shops and amenities in Berwick, 5 miles.
