Great well equipped lodge. Walking distance to Brough which has good facilities. Some great walks in local area around Kirkby Stephen. Nice touch with welcome pack.

Great little lodge. Easily accessible and about 1 hour from any attraction in the lakes or dales. The lodge could use a spruce up but nothing more than a lick of paint to brighten up woodwork. Very comfortable beds and the staff, whilst rarely seen (which was good) were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely park. Accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Only criticism is the 70 mile round trip to Kendal and Windermere to visit the actual lakes.

Lovely weekend away despite the end of storm Stella. The lodge is relaxing, looking out onto the river watching the wildlife. Very clean, warm and comfortable. I was expecting a clad standard static caravan, but it was more substantial than that. Lovely little play area for infants and nice little pond. Welcome pack was nice, does make a difference along with the good service, thank you. We would like to come and stay again in a bit better weather. With young children you have to drive to places, but if you like the outdoors there is plenty around and about to do. Brough is small, Kirkby Stephen has couple of cafes and pubs with a tourist info centre, and a nice soft play area Platform 3.
