I don't like saying I would not stop there again , but for us not having a phone signal or WiFi made communications difficult and getting there was difficult with the size of vehicle we have . If your looking for peace and quiet with lovely scenery this is for you . Other than the two things listed it was a lovely place to stay and if the WiFi is sorted I would definitely go back

A very well equipped, beautifully kept cottage in wonderful surroundings. A fantastic base to relax in after lovely days out around Devon and Sommerset. We had a wonderful holiday and were made very welcome by the owners of Horseshoes, we would love to return and would highly recommend.

Horseshoes is a lovely barn conversion with modern comfortable furnishings. The location is beautiful although rather isolated but okay if you like peace and quiet. The area it is situated in is an area of ouststanding natural beauty with lots of scenic walks, and central for visiting north or south Somerset and Devon. The cottage has no mobile reception and no Wi-fi but I think the owners might be sorting this out as we noticed new router which had not yet been connected. The welcome was lovely with milk, sausages and fairy cakes provided plus fresh flowers.

This is a beautiful cottage, with all you would need for time away from it all. We are local and were actually here because of house repairs, but we would recommend to friends visiting the area. You don't have to think about bringing anything at all! The only thing I'd say is that there is absolutely no internet - mobile data is not good either, so if this is important to you then have a think about how you will manage that. But who wants a holiday blighted by internet anyway?!
