Lovely place itself, very peaceful, modern and comfortable, wonderful Barn Conversion in beautiful surroundings. The owners were particularly welcoming & informative. We had 2 14 year old girls with us who had no problem not having access to their Wifi during our short stay and thoroughly enjoyed their own bedroom, en-suite bathroom and access to the Hot Tub and Summer House. For us personally we would have enjoyed a nice pub within walking distance but everything is a drive away, as we knew this on reading up on the accommodation beforehand we took our own booze to enjoy once we got back from meals out. We also took Playing Cards, a Jig-Saw, Mini Jenga and Uno to play which was a very pleasant change to watching the TV till bedtime. We would like to point out that the showers in both en-suites probably need some attention/update as the water was not that powerful from the shower head in the double room, the jets from the shower head were like little needles which couldn't be altered and some sprayed in a horizontal direction. There were additional jets on the shower casing in the double room but these did not seem to work at all. Otherwise both bathrooms were very modern, the double room was a good size & both had wonderful underfloor heating. The twin en-suite bathroom was quite a bit smaller than the double room but it was great as a 2nd bathroom and toilet. The bedrooms were lovely, very comfortable and nicely decorated. We personally found the double bed a bit too soft and warm for us but not sure if this was the mattress protector if it was polyester rather than cotton? This didn't deter us from completely relaxing and enjoying a very home from home stay. The accommodation itself held the heat very well and it was very cosy at night time. The open plan kitchen was well equipped, we made our own cooked breakfast each morning apart from our leaving day where we went to the recommended Johnson's Garden Centre for a very good full English Breakfast. Although the accommodation was out of the way it did prove to be extremely relaxing which is what we needed, it was very peaceful and great to get away from the hustle and bustle. The highlight was the Hot Tub for the girls - excellent!!! Gorgeous garden view and again so very peaceful with a heated Summer House to sit down and dry off and get warm in afterwards. We also were invited to feed the 5 week old lambs down the lane and give them their breakfast before we left. This was a lovely little treat for us. Think we could have stayed happily for a week but very much enjoyed our short break thanks to Gill and Brian, thank you.

Nice modern property. Very friendly owners on site to help whenever needed. Great hot tub and lots of outdoor space at your disposal. Not much around within walking distance but that’s no fault of the property or owners. We knew that before booking. Great for relaxing and escapism.

We had a lovely family weekend away for a quite birthday celebration, Gill was very welcoming on arrival. This location was great for getting around to Skegness and Boston with the A52 easy to get to for day trips out, The cottage was very quite and my children loved the large garden to play in and a nice dip in the hot tub as the sun set. Plenty of local pubs to eat some lovely home made meals.

We booked this cottage based on the previous reviews and I am so pleased that we did. The owners are so helpful and gave brilliant ideas. We went with two 15 year old girls and there is no WiFi and the girls did not complain once! That goes to show what a lovely time we all had. In Boston they suggested we go to Crumbs for our breakfast and it was only £3.50 for the biggest feast you have ever seen. We ate a gorgeous Sunday lunch on their recommendation, went to a seal sanctuary and a parrot zoo. We have happy memories and felt so relaxed. The cottage was so more spacious that we even considered and the underfloor heating in the shower rooms was a lovely surprise. The hot tub was amazing. This was such a lovely break away and every second of it made happy family memories.

Very nice cottage and lovely landlords. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Never seen so many cabbages in my life they stretch for miles in every direction. The cottage is close to Boston and Skegness with contrasting crowded seaside resort and old fashioned Boston Market town. Go to Gibraltar point for wildlife and good café at visitor centre

Surrounded by open countryside Keepers Cottage is ideal for those wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday. However, it is also convenient for exploring this part of Lincolnshire and there is plenty to see and do within a short drive. Boston is about 5 miles away and has something for everyone - historic buildings, traditional market place, national and independent shops and a variety of places to eat. The owners, Gill and Brian, were very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. Being our first time in the area they kindly recommended places to visit and where to eat. We left wanting more, so hope to return next year!
