Set in the peaceful village of Scremerston, and just 2 miles from both Cocklawburn’s sandy beach and the ancient town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, this wonderful cottage offers a delightful base for a relaxing holiday break. Converted from stables adjoining the owners’ home, and enjoying its own private courtyard garden and gated driveway, with so much to explore from many sandy beaches, castles, wonderful walks and the wilderness of the Northumberland National Park all within 30 minutes drive. Berwick, as well as boasting impressively preserved Elizabethan ramparts and a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, is also home to a station from which visitors can take a 45 minute train journey to the vibrant cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle. Pub 500 yards, shop 1.5 miles.
