As well as private fishing, visitors will discover lovely scenic walking through woodland and around the lakes and the quiet country lanes afford easy and relaxed cycling. There is also an on-site clubhouse with bar (children welcome). Golf and horse riding are available nearby. A great arrray of attractions lie within an easy drive including the wonderful unspoilt sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea, and there’s a wealth of family fun to be found at Hunstanton, a Victorian seaside resort with a Blue Flag beach, famous striped cliffs and fine formal gardens. Just 6 miles away lies the port of King’s Lynn, where visitors will find an historic harbourside and winding lanes of the old town to explore as well as a wide variety of shops. The Queen’s Estate at Sandringham is also within easy reach as are the little town of Holt, with its quaint shops and restaurants, and the castle, cathedral and colourful market of the lovely medieval city of Norwich.
