Exhilarating walking on Bodmin Moor, Sterts open air theatre and the famous Carnglaze Caverns are all close by whilst the quaint and exceptionally pretty village of Polperro (once a thriving centre for the smuggling trade), Plymouth, the fascinating Eden Project, and Lanhydrock and Cotehele (both NT) are all a little further afield.
