Over looking beautiful countryside and situated in a park land setting with a number of other chalets, this property is comfortably furnished and suitable for two families who may wish to holiday together. The open plan sitting room/dining room is ideal for relaxing after a day out exploring and guests will delight in the peace and tranquillity of this lovely corner of Dumfries and Galloway. There are two balconies, one on each floor of the chalet to simply sit and enjoy the views or enjoy alfresco dining on those warmer days and evenings. The lovely golden sands of Sandyhills Bay are only half a mile away and walks can be taken directly from the doorstep. Colvend Golf Club welcomes visitors with wonderful views over the Bay and the Solway Coast. Locally there is horse riding, pony trekking and bicycle hire available and an excellent heated swimming pool at Kirkcudbright. Every day shopping can be done in Colvend; there is also a restaurant and gift shop in the village. The area has a variety of country inns serving good food and there are larger supermarkets in the interesting town of Castle Douglas. This is a perfect location to take in the delights of a both a coastal and country holiday.
