Morawel is a lovely house over looking the harbour. Every bedroom has an ensuite which makes sharing accommodation easier. Morawel is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It's located close to good pubs, restaurants and gifts shops.

It was our second visit, we love the location and being so close to lovely restaurants and bars. The only slight problem was the TV remote was very temperamental and needs replacing.

Fantastic holiday. Just a few cleaning issues (above shower heads) and under bedroom lampshades need sorting. The house is well equipped. The only thing Missing was a pair of oven gloves.

This was our third visit; again thoroughly enjoyable. Looking over the tidal harbour, with a wide choice of eating, drinking (inside and out) and shopping within a radius of 100 yards or so, this is our favourite destination, not least because the area is effectively pedestrianized, with no through traffic. The house itself, and the amenities inside, are perfect for us and our (old) dog. One minor negative is that the parking opposite the house along the harbour wall gets full early in the day and does not clear until early evening, so returning from a trip may mean parking some way away. However we have always been able to bring the car round to the house during the evening to park opposite overnight.

Lovely house in great location. Very convenient for shops and eateries. Well equipped. Courtyard not up to standard of house, but luckily we had excellent weather and were out and about much of the time. All in all - a most enjoyable week.

Great location in a lovely little town with loads of restaurants and a few shops, located right on the harbor and a minuet or two from the town and restaurants,a great place to stay if you like walking as we do.

Perfect location on the Quay. Our second visit and while the house is well equipped and spacious with everything needed we feel it is getting tired and in need of a good clean and paint. The kitchen tap and fan in laundry were still faulty from our last visit six months ago. BBQ would be a great addition. Aberaeron is a great little town plenty of places to eat.

The cottage is well placed within a beautiful small coastal town, on the pretty quayside. All the amenities you would need are available in Aberaeron, including a number of restaurants and cafes, take-aways (if required) and grocery shops. The cottage is clean and attractive, and facilities inside it allow guests to cook or eat out, and to relax in the lounge or the separate dining room. The bedrooms are comfortable and each has its own ensuite. There are many outdoor pursuits for which Morawel is an ideal base, including sailing, walking and cycling. We walked along the disused railway track to the National Trust property at LLanachaeron, a mostly flat 8km round trip. The bays and coves around Aberaeron have their own individual charms and can be accessed along the Wales Coastal Path. We also went further afield, travelling twice up into Snowdonia to make the most of our first time in Wales. Although it was a minimum of a 2 hour drive each way, we visited Portmeirion and Betws y Coed, and travelled on the Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog railway and our journeys were helped by the good weather we experienced. We were lucky with the weather, which allowed us to get out and about all week and make the most of the location. We have rated it 9, because in inclement weather there is a limited amount to do (except maybe take advantage of the great views from the comfort of one of the bars along the quayside). But then, sometimes, it is great to be forced to do nothing and take a step off the treadmill for a week or so. We would definitely recommend the cottage for those that love the outdoors.
