Beautiful house, very friendly proprietors, lovely bathroom upstairs, loved the wooden bench seat, the underfloor heating was great.
Ellesmere is lovely, as is Shrewsbury and rural Shropshire; beautiful countryside and lots of Tudor style old buildings with the oak beams and black and white fronts. Locals seem incredibly friendly and polite.
I would advise visitors to pay close attention to the directions rather than assuming the sat nav will get you to the exact spot.

Recently stayed at Morton Grange for a friends 40th birthday. We had a fab time and couldn't fault the place! Everything was high spec, immaculate and very comfortable. Excellent kitchen facilities, clean throughout and to top it all off, the hot tub was put to good use every day!
Ideal location, walking distance to the local friendly pub and only a short drive to Cheshire Oaks.
The only thing I would be sure to pack next time is some soap for the en-suites and downstairs toilet!
Will definitely return again for a weekend winter break.

Could do with some wardrobes for downstairs bedroom they would go in livingroom next to fire if bench was moved, we never used the bench. Also some soap in downstairs toilet would have been nice.

Really liked place and friendly owners, but on downside no welcome pack.we have been to lots of cottages and never been without a welcome pack or bottle of wine. Lack of washing machine also a minus.Overall the place was well situated and we had a great time including use of hot tub and well looked after secluded garden.

A fantastic little retreat for a romantic break or a sightseeing trip. A very warm welcome from Mandy and a great little hot tub to ease all the aches and pains after walking and shopping etc. Great location for Powis and Chirk castles, walking the llangollen canal path , shopping in shrewsbury and visiting Ironbridge and museums. My lasting memory is of my parents aged 79 and 75 relaxing in the hot tub every night, the first time they have ever been in one. A relaxing and private location and well worth a return trip.

This contemporary coach house conversion, with spacious rooms, lots of character and an enclosed garden boasting its own blissful hot tub. Nestling peacefully besides the owners’ home and it is just a short stroll from the centre of the delightful borderlands town of Ellesmere, located in the heart of the Shropshire lake district, with its fine selection of eateries, shops, beautiful freshwater meres canal and one of the oldest real ale pubs in Shropshire. This property makes a perfect location for a family holiday or short break whatever the season. The area offers a myriad of activities including beautiful country walks, fishing, golf, sailing and kayaking on the River Dee in Llangollen, which is also home to a steam railway and horse-drawn narrow boat rides. Chester and Shrewsbury are both easily accessible, as are Chirk and Powis Castle (NT). Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.
