Easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh (via the scenic trail through some charming Scottish scenery) as well as the border towns of Melrose, Selkirk, Peebles, also home to various castles and abbeys. To the south, Hadrian,s Wall, and the beautiful Dumfriesshire coastline are waiting to be explored.
