Just out of season so shop shut and pub restaurant limited hours which we knew before arrival so not a complaint. Lovely hosts and cottage and right on the waters edge. Would recommend and will return. John

The only 'local amenities' are the pub and sea-fari ! It would be good to be warned at booking about the uneven stone tiles as they're a real trip hazard. Also the toilet window faces the beer garden of pub next door & there is a picnic table right under the window!

We were so lucky to get this cottage at the same time Scotland was enjoying brilliant sunny weather. The cottage was perfect for the two of us, with spectacular views over the sea from the bedroom and balcony. As the village and Island is in a conservation area, peace and quiet is in no short supply. Very friendly locals and bar next door made the 7 nights we stayed an absolute pleasure.

Not our standard the cottage has been built out of a unsuitable building leaving room tight in the bedroom and bathroom. The front door has to be locked as people walk in thinking it's the pub next door. The washing machine had a towel left in it which had gone very fusty. The lack of Windows to enjoy the scenery is a shame the sky lights add light on a sunny day but otherwise a very dark property. Electricity is very expensive it cost £38.70 for the week we only cooked breakfast and one evening meal.

Wonderful cottage, we really enjoyed our stay, bottle of prosecco was most appreciated. If I was being picky perhaps the wet room could do with another extractor fan. I would happily spend the rest of my life there if i could.
