Lots of dust and empty packets behind the bed & bedside units. Mould over the walls & the lady is unhelpful & rude. Tried to charge us again for the cleaning fee that we had already paid.

Me and my husband spent 3 nights at this cottage which was lovely. The owner met us on arrival and then we were completely left alone for the duration of our stay. The cottage itself was really cosy, comfy, clean and well equipped. The hot tub is a great bonus for relaxing in in your very own very private garden. There are 3 farm cats who were all really friendly and always around. This cottage is perfect for couples to get away together to get away from busy day to day lives. There is a pub about 10 minutes away which serves good food and was friendly and welcoming called the cottage inn. There is no wifi in the cottage but we found that this is actually not a bad thing in this day and age. We will definitely return to this cottage in the future.

Nice quaint cottage. Very secluded - just what we wanted with no local amenities. The hot tub was a bonus. The owner failed to contact us as arranged for key collection. Keys were left in the lock so we entered and then phoned the owner again. She popped her head in the gate, asked if everything was alright and left after apologising for not contacting us as she had been busy. Would have thought she would have shown us around. Had we had any problems, she lived virtually next door.

Although the cottage was lovely & cosy I think some things need replaced and repaired. The Jacuzzi bath did not work but advertised as a selling point. Kitchen tiles were sticky. Crockery chipped and worn. Black mould round bath & bottom of the shower screen. Outside the garden furniture had moss growing in the gaps of the chairs and table, and although there was a parasol base, no parasol available. Sound like a lot of negatives but the cottage is a very nice place to spend time. Once these minor things are sorted it would make the cottage extra special.

lovely small compact cottage, well equipped, clean, private garden with hot tub. Owners live next door but apart from greeting us on our arrival, we were left in peace. if you want peace and quiet, then this is the place for you. Plus on a clear night see the stars without light pollution.
