A little further around the bay, and accessed by causeway at low tide, lies the majestic National Trust property of St Michael’s Mount. Sennen’s fine surfing beach, the Minack open air theatre at Porthcurnow, and Land’s End are all a short drive. Day trips to the Isles of Scilly, by ferry or helicopter, depart from Penzance.
