Great local amenities in a village setting with the coast and Skegness just five minutes away. Accommodation cottages are very modern and fitted out fully with electrical appliances, with lovely grounds/gardens superbly managed, plus dog friendly. Hot tub secluded and private and located adjacent to cottages. Only one disappointment the bed mattresses they are well past their prime and need to be changed they are very lumpy and hard.

A beautiful, well equipped cottage in a lovely village. You'd probably need a car to get here and get around, but it's perfect if you do or if you just want to chill in the hot tub or go for country walks along the river. Really can't fault this place, great value for money, mid definitely recommend and will hopefully stay again. Thanks to the owners who were also really helpful.

Just had a lovely relaxing weekend at this cottage. Beautiful quiet location but only 10 mins walk to the shop or pub. Loved the cottage, full of character with it's latch doors and squeaky floorboards and open fire. Really warm as well with central heating, lovely kitchen and gorgeous hot tub. Lovely large garden as well. We will definately do back. Only bad point for us was the double bed. It was really hard and have us sore backs but we are used to a memory foam bed. Other than that it was fantastic and the caretaker was really friendly. We just enjoyed a late winter weekend of watching films, relaxing with the open fire and hot tub. Perfect.

First impressions were of a comfortable cottage with a log fire, perfect for a Christmas break. There was a nice welcome pack, a bottle of wine and a packet of biscuits, however there were far too many niggles; the DVD player was broken, the DVD tray was actually missing which should have been noticed; the central heating timer was wrong and the heating came on at weird hours; two dinner plates broke when we put hot food on them; there were numerous cigarette ends all over the patio; some items of kitchen ware were broken, we had to wash all the crockery and drinking glasses before we could use them, some items were absolutely filthy and fairly disgusting, there was a power cut one evening but no candles in the cottage, nor did the on site caretaker make any attempt to contact us to find out if we were okay; the log fire grate had a section missing and there was no ash-pan and finally it would have been nice if there were a few dishwasher tablets we could have used. Overall, not very good.

Had a fantastic week at Salter's Cottage which is in a lovely little courtyard setting - the standard of accommodation was excellent with great quality furnishings/equipment. The private hot tub was superb & we made good use of that. 10 minute drive into Skegness. Great space outside to walk the dog. Would definitely recommend.
