The three properties lie on the owners’ working farm just 2 miles from Sherborne with its two castles. Iron Age hill forts, great houses and gardens, charming market towns, Fleet Air Arm and motor museums, and fossil hunting on the World Heritage coast are all within easy reach. Superb walking can be enjoyed from the door. Shops 2 miles, pub 1.5 miles.

    We had a wonderful break, the owners were exceptionally kind....the standard of furnishings etc was exceptional, with Wedgewood china to dine from. Nothing was overlooked and in particular it was wonderful to find that it was Disability Friendly. We most definately will return there again as it is close to where we have relatives. Thank you Jill and Ron.............

    We would definitely recommend a stay at this cottage. We received a very warm welcome , a tour of the cottage and a basket full of goodies. Sandford was scrupulously clean and had absolutely everything we needed and more. The setting is idyllic and we returned home completely refreshed. There is so much to see and do in this area and we would love to return.

    This is the third time we have stayed at this location. The owners Ron and Jill are very welcoming. We have stayed in all three properties and they are all very comfortable and exceptionally clean. We will definitely be returning again as we feel very relaxed and fully charged after our visit here. Ron and Jill have a few animals on their land - last time we were there they just had some babies lambs born. We stayed in the Sandford it has a large power shower which was excellent. There are many places to visit in the area as we are National Trust members you are spoilt for choice of properties to visit within a 20 mile radius. We would recommend this location and property for anyone looking for that relaxed and tranquil setting.
