They call Carmarheshire the Garden of Wales and although it has its fair share of upland areas – the Carmarthen Fans in particular – it is noted for its rich farmland. And we have a wide choice of holiday cottages in Carmarthenshire from which you can enjoy its unspoilt coast and lush countryside.

The coast is a perfect mix of long beaches, beautiful estuaries and small fishing villages. Carmarthen Bay and Pembrey are both popular with beach lovers, while Pendine Sands is famous as the site of many land speed record attempts. The Millennium Coastal Park at Llanelli is very popular for family days out and also offers great views across to the Gower Peninsula. The Wetlands Centre nearby is a favourite with birdwatchers, especially during the winter months when thousands of visiting birds can be seen here.

Our Carmarthenshire cottage holidays are also ideal for visiting the fantastic new National Botanic Gardens of Wales. The great glasshouse here, which was designed by Sir Norman Foster, is a major landmark and houses a wide variety of exotic plants from around the world.
