Lovely holiday cottage just around the corner from the beach. Nice throughout and not far from local amenitys. The cottage could have been cleaner spiders were all over the front and back of the house and had to clean them away ourselves inside it was comfortable but the Tv could do with being changed to a newer one maybe a smart Tv, most this won't bother but with having kids there it would have been handy and it would also make the rental a bit more special. If you want a relaxing holiday this could be the one for you.

3rd visit to this lovely cottage. A stone's throw from the beach, walking distance to the local pub which serves hot food and loads of it. Strawberry picking down the road, cycle easy enough to skegness. It's a home away from home and a credit to the owner.

I would like to say what a fantastic cottage. My mum myself and grandson didn't want for anything, nor did our dog. Every detail and everything we wanted was as home from home. The decor was just lovely, and all so comfortable. From having a stair gate which I fitted at the top of the stairs because of our grandson, a cot and high chair were all in place if wanted. Fantastic. We had a secure front and back garden which was fantastic and just made so much of our holiday stress free. My mum had all her facilities on ground level which we found quite hard to get in other accommodation, along with bringing our dog, and being able for myself and grandson to be accommodated, we had everything in this wonderful cottage. All amenities were at hand as described. The welcome we received on our phone call to collect keys and directions was a perfect start to our holiday. Thank you so much for a perfect holiday, we hope to return.

An excellent holiday locale, 300m to the beach, 250m to a chippy and a lovely comfortable cottage with thoughtful touches really did not want to leave.

Location was great for us - very short walk to the beach. Just a short drive to Fantasy Island at Ingoldmels and other attractions in Skegness. There is a nice Italian and Indian restaurant in Chapel St Leonards, other than these two outlets we found it difficult to get decent healthy food in Chapel itself and the surrounding area - may be because we don't eat meat or didn't want to have chips with every meal. The cottage was comfortable (no dishwasher) and it had everything we needed. The information folder in the cottage gives a phone number in case you need anything during your stay. Unfortunately I had conjunctivitis whilst we were away and phoned the cleaner to ask for a clean set of towels as no spares were provided in the cottage and I didn't want to pass the infection on to anyone else. She was very obliging and organized this for us. I did call again the next day to enquire if it would be possible to have a late check out (paid for of course) which I thought was a reasonable and legitimate request, but actually was made to feel I was being a nuisance. As the cleaner came to the phone to speak to me I heard her grumbling 'Oh God what do they want now?!' Not great customer service!

Seaside Cottage is a lovely home away from home. It was very comfortable and well presented. The location was very good, being so close to the beach, which was great for our whippet who thoroughly enjoyed romping on the sand. There are plenty of great days out within driving distance. There is a small shop along the road and a fish and chip shop - however the chip shop is only open limited hours out of season so check before you go. Chapel St Leonard itself does not have a lot to offer especially out of season but that suited us. Not sure what the area would be like when all the caravan parks are full. The cottage is well equipped and the only niggle we had was that the oven needed cleaning - when it was on the whole place smelled greasy. Having said that I would still not hesitate to recommend Seaside Cottage.
