It is an absolute haven for outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts, with walking, cycling, golf, fishing and horse riding available locally, with the Galloway Forest Park within easy reach. Take a gentle stroll along the shoreline or amble through the winding country lanes and enjoy the peace and tranquillity, which attracts people year after year. The village has a heritage museum, everyday shopping, cafe, 2 pubs serving food and is surrounded by numerous pretty villages offering excellent dining facilities and places to visit

This cottage is lovely. Attractively furnished and decorated, well equipped and quietly situated. I particularily enjoyed the peaceful garden at the back of the cottage. Creetown is a quiet, friendly village with good local services and plenty of scope for walks. I hope to return to Silver Lodge again.
