Standing privately amidst peaceful farmland and enjoying spectacular panoramic views over Wensleydale to Witton Fell and Pen Hill, Squirrel Bank offers one of the most prestigious holiday homes in Yorkshire. Converted to exacting standards to provide extremely spacious beamed accommodation, it blends modern comfort with antique furnishings to achieve a very comfortable stylish interior. This is a location for the country lover, with superb walking from the door and fly fishing offered on 1.5 miles of the River Ure just 150 yards from the house (permit for 2 rods provided in season). Within 3 miles is an award winning dining pub in East Witton and Middleham (5 miles) boasts a selection of inns, restaurants and cafés. Jervaulx Abbey lies 1.5 miles away across parkland and the interesting market towns of Leyburn, Bedale and Masham are about 7 miles. Middleham Castle and Racing Gallops, Bolton Castle, Askrigg and Aysgarth Waterfalls and the Wensleydale Creamery and Brymor Ice Cream are all nearby. Ripon 15 miles, city of York 35 miles. Shop and pub 3 miles.
