Was central location for visiting area . However first impresstions (dryed food on cutlery, coffee rings inside cups, dirty tissues in bedroom drawer and dust on window cills ) did not exactley make a good start to our holiday also the view from kitchen and bedroom windows were piles of builders rubble and general junk it was not what we were expecting. The wet room lived up to its name as it would flood right up to bathroom door and through gap at bottom if it was not stopped by mop. At first the wifi did not work but finally he got somebody in to fix it. Stockmans needs a few homely touches eg a bread bin, kitchen roll holder, matching cutlery and matching crockery not the hotch potch we found it could also do with a touch of TLC eg finish tiling bathroom. Over all it was an ok property but nothing to get to excited about.

Lovely area. Excellent amenities in Fakenham but not in the village obviously. Location was very peaceful and attractive looking cottage viewed from the front of the property. The cottage was in need of some tender loving care, and the cleanliness of the property left a lot to be desired. The view from the back of the property was not pleasant and it was not as advertised on the internet. We were told by the owner that these negative points were going to be addressed promptly.

The barn was very clean and spacious, the things that let it down badly, were the towels, bed linen, pillows and very little equipment in the kitchen, The owner was very friendly and helpful, a real character!
