In a lovely rural setting with far reaching views over rolling countryside, this attractive, refurbished, Grade II listed detached cottage makes a cosy and very comfortable holiday base. Set near the owners’ home on their working farm, it lies within a short drive of the historic city of Bath. Walking through wildflowers meadows, the Avebury Stone Circle, Castle Combe (reputed to be England’s prettiest village), Lackock Abbey, Longleat Safari Park, Bradford-on-Avon’s many antique shops and Swindon’s steam museum and outlet shopping are just some of the area’s many delights. Pub serving food 0.25 mile, shop 1 mile.
