We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Coach House. The property had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

The coach house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay although I felt cold during the day. The heating was set and although the temperature could be increased, I felt very cold during the day. The wood burning fire did not give out much heat, the logs where damp. My boyfriend needed to go home during our stay so brought logs from home for the fire which did make a difference. Other than feeling cold during the day I have to say that our stay was perfect. I am looking to return during the summer.

This was the perfect little cottage for two. With a beautiful view (great for birdwatching) and all the amenities anyone could need; we really didn't want to come home. The owners had even decorated it for Christmas and left us some tasty treats. The log burning fire was fabulous and when you need more wood you just help yourself and leave money in the honesty box. The bed was big and comfy and the rain shower was lovely. Wifi worked perfectly all week so we were able to use our Firestick to watch our favourite Christmas movies. The area is very scenic and peaceful with just a few other houses and two gastropubs. We ate in The Hand on Christmas Eve and it was fabulous. We would definitely stay here again.

A real gem. Peaceful retreat with fantastic views, extremely comfy bed, log fire and a home from home. It was equipped to a high standard with everything that you could possibly need. The location was beautiful and two restaurants with in walking distance provided some delicious meals. Lovely walks and destinations or a perfect place to sit and relax. A local shop for essentials would have made it perfect but the drive along the valley was lovely and the Spar shop had everything.

Comfortable barn conversion in a beautiful location. However, don't really think it warrants a grade 5 comparing it with other cottages we have stayed in. Not even a pint of milk left in the 'fridge! Patio doors not very clean, smell of damp in entrance porch, verandah fencing looks like wooden pallet boards had been used.

Beautiful little place to stay. It was ideal for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the en suite had a very powerful shower. The kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of instruction books for the cooker, dishwasher etc. The outlook was pretty, it is in the bottom of a valley with hills all around. Some roads narrow so care is needed. It has a patio off the upstairs living- kitchen area which is sunny most of the day. " Two excellent eating pubs in the village.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Two hotels in the village, with welcoming atmosphere we ate at both during our stay, would recommend either but our favourite was the Hand. Cottage was handy for visiting National Trust properties and other tourist attractions. Cottage was well equipped and the views from the balcony over the valley were a bonus. Would stay again.

The Coach House was beautiful, we loved that the Lounge and Kitchen were upstairs as the view from the Lounge window was absolutely stunning. The Kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lovely bedroom with a very comfy bed, the bathroom had an amazing powerful shower and everywhere was beautifully appointed, we couldn't have wished for anything nicer, the owner of the property rang us on the Sunday and was extremely helpful suggesting places to visit and also advised us that the lady wasnt due to clean until the Tuesday morning and so there was no rush to leave on the Monday, which was extremely nice of him. The Property also has an added advantage in that it is situated in a small village with 2 pubs within a minutes walk, we had a lovely meal in the Hand and would highly recommend. We stayed over the May Day Bank holiday, and were very lucky with the weather as there are gorgeous walks and lots of lovely places to visit within a short distance. We have recommended it to all our family and friends and can't wait to go back!
