Bird reserves, seal watching, boat trips, fishing, coastal and riverside walks, and steam railway rides at the picturesque resort of Sheringham are just some of the attractions within a short drive. The National Trust’s Felbrigg and Blickling Halls, the charming market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham, the Norfolk Broads, BeWILDerwood treetop adventure park and the lovely cathedral, castle, restaurants and great shopping in the medieval city of Norwich are also easily accessible. Shop, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.

    Unfortunately, the grass had been recently cut but the cuttings had been left on the lawn so our dogs trailed them into the cottage every time they wandered in and out. We visited in October and the cottage felt a bit damp, there was mould in the bathroom and on the pillowcases. Also we were plagued by flies, possibly from the stank pond in the garden. This was not the nicest cottage we have stayed in but its location and the large enclosed garden were perfect for our dogs.

    Beautiful cottage in a handy location surrounded by lovely country walks. Safe for children and pets. The only downside is the bathroom is very tired and needs a revamp.

    Fabulous location with excellent dog walks. The cottage, although a little tired in places, is a fabulous based. Thoroughly enjoyable and we will return!

    we picked this cottage as we have 3 dogs it suited our needs luckily the pond was fenced off they loved the donkeys at the back we were a 10 minute drive from mundesley where they could go on the beach also just down the road was a garden centre that had a nice restaurant also a nice waitrose nearby

    No washing machine yet kitchen described as modern. Noisy location. Not advised on main road. No blinds in kitchen, bathro om or on small window in bedroom although fittings for blinds were in position. No wardrobe in main bedroom minimising hanging space. Untidy garden area. Main site not easily assessible due to distance from cottage therefore restricting those with walking difficulties. No wi-fi. Bad reception on television. Value for money disgraceful. Compensation for all of the above should be considered.
