Logs expensive, you should take your own. I would not get a cottage with an electricity meter again, works out quite expensive if you're want to keep warm. The owners were charming, helpful and knowledgeable. I would also like to recommend a bicycle hire called Wheels.

This cottage has the potential to be fantastic however it was not the cleanest of cottages. The facilities were outdated and expensive to use I,e £1 slot meter for electricity. We are regular user of self catering accommodation this was the most expensive cottage we have stayed at in the last 5 years and the additional cost to heat etc was really disappointing. The bathroom needs to be updated with a proper shower the cast iron bath maybe of the correct type for the age of the cottage but the lack of a proper shower surround meant water went all over the place resulting in damp walls and floors. The location is excellent such a shame about the cottage.
